Convey Law Team Makes a Difference: Raising Over £400 in One Day for Local Community 

Convey Law kicked off its fundraising efforts in 2024 with a bang, thanks to the incredible generosity and support of our dedicated team.

During the recent office ‘Happy Day,’ which brought the staff together for a meaningful cause, the team rallied together and raised an impressive £438.65 through a combination of a raffle and bake sale.  

This collective effort was not merely about numbers; it was an expression of compassion towards a local family in need, a cause close to the heart of Convey Law Conveyancer, Rhian. Billy, a local father who was known to Rhian through her son’s football team, passed away suddenly after a short illness.  

Not only was Billy known to Rhian through her son’s football team, but he was also recognised as an extraordinary individual in the community who devoted his life to caring for his wife and children.  

In response to this poignant loss, the BTM football team, in collaboration with Billy’s family, has been actively raising funds. These funds aim to ensure that Billy receives the farewell he truly deserves, reflecting the impact he had on the community and the lives he touched. 

In a demonstration of solidarity and support, our Managing Director, Lloyd Davies, along with our leadership team, has pledged additional contributions to elevate the total fundraising amount to an impressive £1,000. 

We are immensely proud of our team’s dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of others. This significant achievement not only highlights the generosity of the Convey Law team but also showcases the collective commitment to serving the community in times of need. 

Rhian expressed her heartfelt gratitude, saying, “Thank you so much to those who donated prizes, to the supervisors for generously donating their time, and to all of you for your contributions. The amount raised is truly staggering, especially considering it was the day before payday. From the bottom of my heart, I am immensely grateful. I hope you can see how much this means to me. A special thank you to the directors for their generous contribution, which will be deeply appreciated by the family.” 

Congratulations to all raffle winners! They had the opportunity to choose from a range of prizes, including delicious cakes, beauty items, and even special tasks donated by colleagues, such as a week of having tea made for them.
