Convey Law Ride to the Rugby and Raise Over £10,000.00

Four Convey Law members participated in The Conveyancing Foundation’s first event of 2016, the Ride to the Rugby challenge! This was a charity bike ride starting at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff and ending in Dublin for Wales’ opening RBS 6 Nations match against Ireland.

The Challenge

Captained by former Wales skipper Colin Charvis, our very own Rob Hosier, Geraint Aubrey, George Shirlaw and Rory Brown joined over 30 other cyclists and set off on the 175+ mile bike ride in support of Shelter Cymru. The ride started at the Principality Stadium on Thursday 4th February and took three days to complete.

Day 1 – approximately a 69 mile cycle from Cardiff to Carmarthen.
Day 2 – a very hilly 41 mile ride to Pembroke Dock, to catch the afternoon ferry to Ireland.
Day 3 – a 65 mile climb up along the east coast of Ireland to Dublin.

Bad weather conditions and steep hilly terrain made the cycle even more of a challenge. But with the support of the event organisers and all the Convey Law team, the riders managed to complete the ride and raise over £10,000 for Shelter Cymru!

You can still donate and help us raise vital funds for Shelter, please follow the steps on our Virgin Giving page. The link is https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/ride2dublin Anything you could give would be greatly appreciated!

A big thank you for everyone that supported this event!
