Convey Law are Riding to the Rugby

Convey Law, a conveyancing firm in Newport are no strangers to fundraising. Over the last 5 years Convey Law has raised in excess of £320,000.00 for a variety of charities and were recognized for their outstanding efforts with a Leadership in Corporate Social Responsibility Award from the Institute of Directors in 2015. They are also always up for a challenge, having taken part in the Welsh Three Peaks, Taff Trail Challenge, Rainbow Runs and London to Brighton cycle this year! Conveyancer Geraint Aubrey even scaled four massive mountains in the Swiss Alps to help the company raise over £50,000.00 for charity this year! Now a team of 4 are looking to Ride to the Rugby in aid of Shelter Cymru.

Lloyd, Geraint, Rob and Will be donning their cycling vests, padded shorts and undoubtedly some thermals to ride the 200 miles from Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium to the Aviva Stadium, Dublin in early February to arrive in time for the Six Nations’ match Ireland Vs Wales. Over the next 10 weeks they will be spinning those legs in preparation for their next big challenge and asking for support from their clients, suppliers, and colleagues to raise funds for Shelter Cymru.

Following the success of their incredible fundraising, Convey Law has recently launched the Conveyancing Foundation. Chairman of the Conveyancing Foundation and Managing Director of Convey Law, Lloyd Davies says:

“The Conveyancing Foundation has been established to help conveyancers raise money for charity in an easy and effective manner. Conveyancers are very good with processes and procedures and our Charity Lotto enables you to raise significant and consistent donations for charity. The Foundation is a not for profit organisation and our sole purpose is to help to raise money for those charities.”

Louise Bennett, Head of Fundraising for Shelter Cymru, is also riding to the rugby:

“It is great to have a team of such experienced fundraisers taking part in Ride to the Rugby, I am sure they will provide inspiration and ideas for the other cyclists taking on the challenge and hopefully we will all make it over to Dublin in time for the rugby!”.
