Convey Law and Caerwent Youth Club Continue Fundraising Link
Newport Property Lawyers hold annual fundraiser for local youth club
Conveyancing specialists Convey Law held their 4th annual fundraiser for Caerwent Youth Club this month. The conveyancing company, based on Stow Hill have held close links with the Youth Club for 4 years through Caerwent Youth Leader Alex Harris, who works as a Conveyancing Assistant at Convey Law.
Over the last 4 years Convey Law has held staff dress down days and cake sales to raise over £600.00 for the youth club which has been used for both new equipment and to redecorate the club with a new mural painting.
Caerwent Youth Club is run by the Monmouthshire Youth Service and provides a number of traditional activities for children including sports such as football, hockey and dodgeball and a number of arts and crafts projects. In addition the youth club prides itself on providing valuable advice and guidance to its attendees and regularly hosts healthy cooking tutorials as part of its Healthy Living Programme and ‘life issues’ workshops on topics such as Anti-Bullying and Internet Safety.
Caerwent Youth Club receives no external financial backing and therefore relies heavily on charity donations such as the funds from Convey Law which go a long way to helping the club to continue to run each year.
Convey Law has a proud history of fundraising and has raised in excess of £165,000.00 for charity in just the last 4 years. This year the company hopes to raise another £50,000.00 taking the total well past the £200,000.00 mark.
