Remortgage Conveyancer/Case Handler

Remortgage Conveyancer/Case Handler

Salary:

Starting at £22,000.00 – £24,000.00 (Depending on experience) + Commission 

Reports to:

Legal Director

 

Job Purpose:

Due to continued success and planned growth, we are recruiting exceptional and driven remortgage conveyancers/case handlers committed to building a rewarding career within an innovative, award-winning, and industry-leading residential conveyancing company based in Newport, South Wales.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Take responsibility for and complete remortgage matters
  • You will oversee the legal elements of the remortgage process which will cover tenancy remortgages, staircasing, leasehold, and transfer of equity to name a few
  • Carry out day to day legal administration on behalf of lenders
  • Ensuring that work is accurately carried out in the set time frame.  Maintaining high standards of client care and service to third parties.
  • Deal with incoming correspondence, e-mails, etc.
  • Take phone calls, record them on the CMS and take necessary action.
  • Proactively progress cases through the CMS and retain files updated.
  • Reviewing property titles, reporting on mortgage offers, and corresponding on relevant mortgage information with other parties involved in the process
  • Meeting the department’s set targets and working proactively to tight deadlines 

Essential Skills: 

  • Must have 2 years experience working in a fast-paced high-volume conveyancing firm
  • Solid re-mortgage experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong focus on great customer service
