Job Description

Convey Law

Convey Law is an innovative, award-winning, and industry-leading conveyancing legal practice based in South Wales. Our philosophy is to be the very best at what we do, revolutionise the conveyancing industry and most importantly exceed our client expectations.

We achieve this through our exceptional employees who also have our passion to be the best version of themselves and share our core values of integrity, competence, openness, and benevolence.

Whilst we pride ourselves on our high performing culture, we love to have fun in work and enjoy collaboration days where we all get together for training and team building activities to support our regular charity fundraising.

The Role

Due to our continued success and increased demand, we are looking to recruit experienced residential conveyancers to join our team. Working within a small cohort, led by a Conveyancing Manager, supported by a conveyancing assistant and our background teams, you will manage your client caseload in a timely manner through the conveyancing process to ensure that the best interests of the client, mortgage lender and Convey Law are adequately protected in line with professional standards and internal quality requirements. This will be achieved by delivering exceptional client service, following internal conveyancing protocols, and achieving monthly individual, and team KPIs.

Daily this will involve:

  • Dealing effectively with clients and introducers both over the telephone and in email to provide advice and assistance to them in relation to residential property matters in accordance with Company protocol using a bespoke CMS system.
  • To accurately forecast monthly exchanges and completions in line with Company requirements to ensure cases are completed on a timely and cost-effective basis and in accordance with professional standards and internal quality requirements.
  • To continuously achieve individual and team targets in relation to customer service, number of exchanges, timelines, and average fees.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues in background teams and our introducers to ensure a positive experience for all clients and to secure our ongoing commercial relationships.

The Rewards

Working for Convey Law will give you a rewarding career with a competitive salary and monthly payments for the achievement of targets. In addition to being part of a company that will support you through our training and wellbeing programmes and recognition schemes, we offer a substantial benefits provision. This includes flexibility in working arrangements, company sick pay, discount schemes and the ability to purchase additional leave. We also feel birthdays are to be celebrated so give you an additional leave day in the month of your birthday.

The Individual

To be successful in the recruitment process you will need to evidence the following in your CV:

  • Technical legal knowledge of land law and the conveyancing process.
  • Demonstrable conveyancing experience including both freehold and leasehold titles.
  • Previous experience of managing own caseload in a fee earning role, ideally in a volume conveyancing practice.
  • Ability to work in a targeted based environment and continuously deliver against agreed KPIs and targets.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship building experience.
  • Proficiency with CMS systems and willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.

Next Steps

If you have the qualities that we are looking for, share our Company values and feel this is the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.
