The Role
Our people are at the heart of the Company and as a result of our continued growth, we are looking for an administrator to join our small, but busy, HR team. The successful candidate will need to have a positive mindset, be naturally empathetic with a desire to deliver an exceptional service to support our leadership teams and employees. You will also need to be able to balance the requirement to undertake the transactional elements of HR, whilst continually growing within the role. Principal responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Assisting in the recruitment process by drafting job descriptions, writing job adverts, arranging, and attending interviews as required.
  • Conducting meetings for probationary and absence management reviews and flexible working requests.
  • Support the HR Manager and line managers in disciplinary and performance management meetings.
  • Assist in the absence management and performance appraisal processes, ensuring Company policies are followed
  • Draft Contracts of Employment and issue amendments as required due to contractual changes, such as salary increases, change of hours etc whilst also ensuring that the HR system is always up to date.
  • Assistance with project work within the HR Department and wider Company

The Individual
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable values and ethics that mirror our own culture values and to be successful in the recruitment process you will need to evidence the following in your CV:

  • Qualified by experience in HR, or CIPD Level 3/5 qualification (or be working towards) or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role.
  • Awareness of the importance of confidentiality and understanding of GDPR in an employment context
  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation and how to pragmatically ensure its compliance within HR processes.
  • Well-developed written communication skills, with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate across all levels of the business
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft packages and HR Systems.
