Will I need to go into the Conveyancers office to sign all relevant documentation?
It should not be necessary for your Conveyancer to see you in person. All matters can be dealt with by email, letter or by telephone. The distance between you and us is of no relevance to your property transaction.
Will I be able to speak to my Remortgage Case Handler whenever I need to?
Your Conveyancer, or members of his or her support team, will always be available for you to speak to during normal working hours. Our target response time for returning calls is two hours. You will have at least five points of contact available to you at any time that you decide to call your Conveyancer.
How long does a normal remortgage transaction take?
Our target is to complete all remortgage transaction within 5 working days of receipt of the new mortgage offer. It can take mortgage lenders up to three weeks to produce a new mortgage offer. The average time from instruction to completion is therefore between 2 and 5 weeks.
