Proudly supporting Paul Fears’ Everest Base Camp Trek in support of Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice
At Convey Law, we are always proud to support the incredible efforts of those close to our team. This month, we are honoured to contribute £3,000 from our Charity Lotto fund to support our long-time photographer, Paul Fears, as he embarks on a heartfelt journey to Everest Base Camp in memory of his beloved son, Greg.
A Journey of Love and Remembrance
Paul, who has been capturing our most cherished moments at events over the years, set off in April 2025 on a challenging trek to Everest Base Camp. Accompanied by his trusty companion, Snowdog, and a team from The Events Room, Paul undertook this expedition to honour Greg, who tragically passed away in February 2023.
Throughout the trek, Paul faced numerous challenges, including altitude sickness and a twisted ankle. Despite these obstacles, he persevered, driven by the memory of Greg and the desire to support other families facing similar hardships. On 24th April 2025, Paul and his team reached Everest Base Camp, a testament to their resilience and dedication.
Supporting Tŷ Hafan
The trek also served as a fundraiser for Tŷ Hafan, the children’s hospice that provided invaluable support to Paul and his family during their most difficult times. The £3,000 donation from our Charity Lotto fund will go directly to Tŷ Hafan, aiding them in their mission to offer comfort and care to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
Paul shared his experiences and reflections throughout the journey, highlighting the emotional and physical challenges he faced and the inspiration he drew from Greg and the families supported by Tŷ Hafan. His updates are a powerful testament to resilience, love, and the healing power of purpose.
